The food was great. Ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed our meals and drinks. Our server Aaron was excellent. We had Bone-In Ribeye Steak with Kona rub, Bone-In Ribeye with Porcini rub, Sautéed Spinach, Lobster Mac n Cheese, and Calamari. Drinks Black Tie Margarita and a Passion Fruit Mojito. My wife spotted NeNe Leakes (American TV personality) coming in for dinner.
The Capital Grille exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic. The appetizer and the main dishes were delicious. We went on New Years Eve and the service was excellent. I loved the decor of the restaurant, it's very different than most restaurants in Atl. I highly recommend visiting this establishment and I can't wait to go back.
Recently went to celebrate my anniversary and really enjoyed dinner. The service was 5/5 and the food all came out perfectly hot! The calamari is amazing with the sauce. I ordered a filet which was cooked to my liking. This restaurant is great for any celebrations or date nights.
My friend and I visited Capital Grille for his birthday lunch. It wasn't too busy, but we decided to sit at the bar and had Melissa/Valerie as bartenders. They were both amazing. We ordered a wide variety of drinks/food. For cocktails we had: the Mango Royale, Stoli Doli, In Fashion, Cosmopolitan, and a Classic Margarita. For food we enjoyed the Maine lobster salad, lobster and cake burger, Parmesan truffle fries and a dessert sampler to end the birthday lunch. The creme brûlée cheesecake was absolutely deliciousFrom the food, drinks, and service, everything was absolutely 10/10. I had an incredible dinner today at the Capital Grille. We were celebrating a birthday tonight, and we had such attentive service and delicious food. The atmosphere was a nice and quiet fine dining setting. I got the special lobster bisque to start and it was so thick and creamy. My steak of choice for tonight was the filet mignon and it was delicious. The lobster mac and cheese and asparagus sides were also delicious. For dessert, I had the cheesecake, and it was so unique because it had a bruleed top. Loved my time here and would love to come again sometime.
Had a really fantastic experience here for lunch today! There were only a few other groups dining as it was a Friday on a holiday weekend. Service was fast and the staff were so attentive and friendly. I had the Capital Grille Cobb w/ Steak Tenderloin cooked medium rare (leaning towards the rare side which was exactly what I wanted). I think this was one of the best salads I've ever had because it was fresh, light but savory with the steak, and also thoroughly chopped and mixed (toppings + dressing) BEFORE being plated so I didn't have to make a mess mixing them in myself. This seems like such a small detail but you can tell they've really thought through these things. Would 100% recommend this dish for lunch! My partner had the Steak Frites lunch plate which also came with French Onion Soup as a starter (swapped for Clam Chowder). It came with some rosemary fries and a tangy/creamy dipping sauce, which were delicious. He mentioned during the meal that this reminded him what good steak tastes like, and it's not even their best cut! I also had the mint lemonade - non alcoholic drinks like this are always pricey at restaurants, but it was so worth it and very refreshing on a 90+ degree day. We will definitely return - 10/10!
Celebrated a birthday dinner here at Capital Grille on a Saturday night. We were a few minutes late for our reservations but they still seated us promptly in a private room with a pretty nice view. I really appreciated our party being sat separately because it made it more intimate and also allowed our service to be more tailored. I genuinely wish I could have remembered the man's name who serviced us that night because he was very personable and kind. I am not a steak fan, at all, so I opted to get the crab cake with a personal size of the Brussel sprouts. The crab cake is small but mighty, rich in crab meat. The Brussel sprouts could have been a little bit more crispy for my liking but they were also pretty good. My 'wow' of the night was them bringing us complimentary champagne for a champagne toast at the end of the night. Great experience!
